We decided that we would film in the day to make it more intimidating for when it's light outside but dark inside. We shot things at different times we filmed the walking scene in the late morning so it still looks erie but light as well. The timings for the killings didn't matter because the killings were all filmed in dark lighting, with no sunlight coming through the windows, just so it makes the audience and the victims seem like there is no light and that its near the end of time for the victims. Having a shooting schedule helps so much and helps everyone know and understand what is happening and what times are needed for everyone to know what we are filming and what times we are helps the trailer come along quicker and easier to create.
